ANIMAL HUSBANDRY


The object of the Animal Husbandry Department is to provide treatment, Vaccinations and operations to the Animals and Poultry. Also, it provides Milch Animals to Tribals in the district and others under the various schemes of the Government.

Use the artificial inseminations in local cows and buffaloes by exotic high milch breed to produce cross breed of high milch potential.

There are the veterinary dispensaries at each taluka level and graduate level dispensary at district level to look after the animal health and to enhance the cross breeding programme.
